Product To Return : MCL2005 MMax Pico 100A ESC
Problem With Product : I bought the Pico in September 2017 but only installed it 3 weeks ago. It was installed in TC along with a Maclan 21.5 V2 TE motor. On the first weekend, I bumped a board and the throttle cut out for a bout 10 sec. The steering continued to work. After about 10 seconds the throttle began to work again. The following week I got hit by another car, and the same thing happened. I thought it might be a loose connection or something so I checked everything and replace the sensor wire just in case. The very next race I got hit again and the exact same thing happened, except this time the throttle stayed inop. When the race marshal handed me the car, I saw that LED 1 on the ECS was solid red and LED 2 was blinking blue, with no orange. When I turned it off and then back on the ESC reset and operated normally. I contacted Ian and he recommended I remove the switch and recheck all of the connections. I did that and then during the race today the same thing happened. Throttle stopped working and LED 1 was solid red and LED 2 was flashing blue. I have done the following so far:
changed sensor wire
re-soldered all connections
recalibrated ESC/RX
changed sensor wire.
removed switch
At this point the only thing I can think it would be is the ESC
