My name is Joe Scaramell I am a team driver and I need some ESCs repaired. I have labeled each ESC on the units A, B, C & D and a description on this letter as what is going on with each one. If you have any questions please let me know thanks. Please let me know how fast these can be fixed as I have a lot of races coming up and I am down a lot of speed controls right now. Thank you so much for whatever you can do for me.
Sincerely,
Joe Scaramell

A. I was using this in my stock buggy at a race that was held on an 8th scale track and the jumps were big and very little downside on them. After landing the Jump the speed control caught fire and we put it out.
B. This speed control was in my stock buggy and I had someone put me down on the track and plug in the battery and he accidentally reversed polarity and puff.
C. This ESC was just purchased and only has one Race weekend on it. I ran this in my 4wd 13.5 class at the Midwest Championships and it ran great. 5 days later I turned it on but got no throttle. It would occasionally go if I turned the wheels by hand but very low RPM and then stop. I tried different sensor wires, batteries and motors and it won’t work. This is a new speed control so not sure why it isn’t working.
D. This speed control is very new and just put in a car for the Midwest Championship to save some weight in stock buggy. This unit shuts down when my battery voltage was about 7.47 I checked both cells and they weren’t near the voltage cut off. I had the cutoff set to 6.0 and temperatures weren’t even close to the thermal cut off range. I tried it again with a different car and motors and battery and it did it again. No idea what the cause is.

Both C & D had no adverse conditions applied to it and were very new hoping you will cover these repairs however both A & D they were hard landing issue and a reversed polarity issue. Please do what you can and please know I appreciate all you do as I love my equipment form Maclan. Thank You and I wish you and the Team a very Merry Christmas and happy Holidays!!!!
