Product To Return : MCL2003 MMax Pro 160A ESC
Problem With Product : ESC had been producing erratic power to the motor. Ultimately, some sort of shortage occurred, stopping the buggy a mere two minutes into warm-up practice last evening (24 May 2017). Upon replacing the battery, the ESC lights turned on but did not go through a beep sequence. The steering servo twitched briefly, the wheels briefly spun slowly. I grabbed my radio from the table and tested throttle and steering and there wasn’t any response from either. At that point, I noticed excessive heat from the battery and ESC which I immediately disconnected. Not enough heat to detach any wires or connectors. I’ve replaced three different sensor wires, which had never solved the issue with any predicable success. Temperatures from the ESC and motor have never been excessive or even greater than “warm”. ESC was ran in Profile 3.
