User Note

5/19/2021 Inspection – Hello Brent, I have inspected your battery and connected it to my own car. As you can see by the video, it is perfectly fine.

I would like to call you tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss. When is a good time to call you? Thank you!

5/20/2021 Inspection – Hello Brent, As per our conversation today, I am inspecting your equipment. Your motor tests fine on the analyzer, however your timing is set to 33 degrees. The recommended timing for the motor is 20 degrees. Looking at your settings, you have quite an aggressive set up in the ESC, with turbo starting at 70% throttle. The total time from 70% throttle to 100% throttle is only .20 of a second, combined with the turbo starting at 70%. Judging by your setup (1st stage starts at 60%), you must be running on a very high grip surface. The aggressive setup, combined with the very high can timing, could be the cause the of the damage.

The MOSFET board was extremely damaged.

My suggestion is to lower the timing on the motor, and then add the extra timing in on the turbo during the second half of the run(after reaching 100% throttle). If you need more power off the hit, you can increase the launch throttle percentage and shorten the stages.

This damage was not caused by the battery, or an ESC defect, however, we will cover the damages this one time. We value your business and we hope to see you taking home race wins.

Please see testing video of the ESC after repairs. The ESC was repaired with new MOSFET board, control board and capacitor.
