Problem With Product : I purchased a Maclan Wireless Link a few months ago for use with my MMax Pro 160 esc. I just opened the pack and used it for the first time and I’m having some trouble.

I followed the instructions closely but after connecting to the “Maclan Wireless Settings” SSID, I opened the Maclan app (Maclan Racing Smart Link iOS Version
Build 20210117-8) On my IPhone 12 Pro running iOS 14.4.1

The app initially showed a connection to the wireless link but after clicking “connection” from the menu, per the printed instructions, the status light on the link turned from blue to solid orange and the app showed no connection.
I went back into my WiFi settings and the “Maclan wireless settings” SSID was gone and replaced with “Maclan Air Link”. I connected to the “Maclan Air Link” SSID using password 12345678.

Now my phone shows a successful connection to the “Maclan air link” network, but there is no communication with the wireless link through the app and the status has stayed solid orange. Per the instructions, I pressed the “set” button for 3 seconds to reset the wireless link to the first time connection settings, however no matter how long I depress the “set” button, the wireless link’s status light remains solid orange.

I’ve reflashed the esc with the latest 2 firmware updates and the problem persists with either update. I’ve also tried restarting my iPhone several times and reinstalling the Maclan app from the App Store.

I’ve tried every possible thing I can think of to troubleshoot this issue and I believe my wireless link may just be defective. I’m hoping you can either help me remedy the situation or possibly exchange the faulty wireless link for a new working one.
