10/26/2020  The ESC is out of warranty. We’ll perform a free inspection and get back to you.

10/27/2020 Inspection

  • ESC has damaged MOSFET units and gate driver, possibly incorrect power input.
  • The cost to rebuild the ESC is $80 plus return shipping $8. Please reply if you wish to proceed with the service. Thank you

10/29/2020 Service

  • Rebuilt ESC with brand new control board, MOSFET board, and capacitor module.
  • Tested and verified ESC. Please see RMA#1574 testing video.

Note & Friendly Reminder:

  • During the repairing, we discovered a possible cause of the problem. The bullet connector was completely cold soldered with minimum to none solder in bonding the cable and connector. Please see RMA#1574 cold soldering connector video.
  • We would strongly suggest a good connector soldering to minimize the risk of issues.

Communication 12/1/2020

  • We inspected the ESC. The ESC has completely damaged MOSFETs. Please see the below photos:

  • We also inspected the data logging. The record shows the ESC was power on with 3 sessions. Please see data logging video.
  • Please note that we can only visually inspect other manufacturer’s motor. The motor looks fine to us. The possible cause of this latest damage can be reverse polarity according to the information we could observe from the return ESC.
  • Unfortunately, such damage on the MOSFETs were not manufacturer’s defect. Since this case was within one month after last return. We would offer this one time courtesy support with 50% off discount. The cost will be $48 with return shipping. Please let us know if you wish to proceed.
