10/28/2020 Communication and service
  • The ESC was permanently damaged by out of sync motor signal.
  • We will offer this one time courtesy service to rebuild the ESC with all new internals (waive $120 service fees).
  • Please see RMA#1556 testing video.
  • Please note:
    • Our MMax 8 design was to run full sensor mode. It is extremely important to have good motor sensor signal. We do not like to make a guessing judgement that can point to other manufactures product. We only provide the observations and possible causes of the failure.
    • The motor might be working with other ESC showing no problem as most ESCs on the market are running in “Hybrid” or “sensorless” mode.
    • We’d suggest you to check the motor, as it might cause damage to the fully rebuilt MMax 8R ESC again.
