Product To Return : MCL2005 MMax Pico 100A ESC
Problem With Product : This is my 3rd Maclan esc purchase in a short amount of time. I race 5 classes at 2 different tracks. So… this particular esc. Is my 2nd pico 100amp the first one was a scratch and dent sale. It works flawlessly in my 13.5 stadium truck. Well the second one purchased in April 2019, was put in a 2wd buggy for a new 21.5 class. The esc. and car had 3-4 practice packs ran through it. No problems whatsoever until my mains on race day. Everything was fine plugged esc. Into battery, heard esc. chime tested steering and throttle, walked over to track put car down. Drove over the loop and back to pit lane. Walked upstairs to driver stand, heard people yelling as I turned around I saw my car in a ball of thick white smoke. Luckily an experienced racer ripped body off car and cut power wires with snips. My battery and motor are ok. Had a couple melted plastics on car. I really hope you can do something for me about this as race season is picking up in my area. And when schools out for my daughter she’ll be joining me. And I would like to have all my 1/10 scales be powered by Maclan.
