User Note

Check-in: 11/16/2018 3:11pm by Barbara

Inspection:

  • We do not specify motor rotor gauss in any model. It is a common business practice in RC industry. People would buy gauss meter to pick from a batch they purchased from a manufacture then mix match their own motors. Unfortunately it is not part of the service.
  • We will do above an beyond for you by measuring inventory rotors to show your rotor was in the average range.
  • Your rotor reading is as below:

  • We randomly pick 2 rotors from inventory and get below reading

The motor you sent back is no problem.

Those number of mine. it look more like stock rotor not High Torque gauss….
I received email with better information from Maclan Team member and F1 driver and their rotor # are much better . what is high torque s/b.

  • Maclan’s reply to the customer:

1. Who is the “Team Member” that you are referring to? Please specify a name.

2. Every so-called RC gauss meter on the market measures gauss numbers with tolerance. And again, gauss reading is not part of the specification.

3. To go above and beyond to help you understand this “gauss” number better, we will provide this last info of all 12.3mm rotors for your information.

Below is the standard red cap 12.3mm rotor (MCL4116)

Below is the RPM blue cap 12.3mm rotor (MCL4159)

You are welcome.
